We have a great opportunity for a well organised, hands-on Leader with strong warehousing experience, to step into the role of the Liquor Distributions Manager.

**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee all facets of managing the warehouse workflow and driving high performance.
- Maintaining, improving and delivering the efficiency and productivity of the warehouse.
- Ensures safe work practices are being actioned by the Team Leader and followed by all staff
- Monitor updates on OH and S, and update workplace safety policies and procedures, and provide training as required
- Communicate daily with Management, Buying and Customer Service teams to manage all orders.
- Coordinate and schedule shipments to the warehouse
- Data driven decision making
- coordinate unloading pallets and storage
- Manage inventory and communicate inventory levels to staff and integrated systems
- Oversee all receiving, inventory and allocation of shipments
- Manage and reconcile all client inventories
- Qualifying the 24 hrs shipment policy - oversee KPI’s such as movement, damage and on time dispatch
- Managing ‘Quick ship’ staff and overseeing its function.
- Manage operation costs, minimising variables and in keeping within budgets
- Report weekly, Monthly and quarterly performance to the COO/Director
- Execute client requests with speed, accuracy and professionalism
- Manage & maintain general warehouse cleanliness and organisation
- Communicate with the landlord and contractor for maintenance & access ongoing needs

**Ongoing Requirements**:

- Having a clear understanding of the company’s core success factors and how the warehouse contributes to these
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods
- Efficient utilisation of space and mechanical handling equipment, ensuring quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
- Coordinating the use of computing systems where utilised
- Keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy
- Planning future capacity requirements
- Ensuring all stock is maintained and temperature controlled to the highest standard
- Organising the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
- Maintaining accurate staff timesheets and following UC Leave policies surrounding leave requests. Ensuring staff levels are maintained and provide enough coverage for efficiency and productivity.
- Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the warehouse staff to ensure a culture of high staff performance.
- Briefing the Storeman and Team Leader on a daily basis
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment eg. ensuring stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely
- Overseeing the maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment

**Requirements**:

- A current drivers licence.
- 5+ Previous experience.
- Forklift licence.
- Elementary education is required and must be computer literate
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Basic maths skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol
- Available to work Monday
- Friday 7am -5pm
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be multi-task-oriented, with ability to prioritise workload.
- RF Scanning.
- Strong phone based skills.
- Wine knowledge is highly desirable but not a deal breaker.

We are looking for someone who is hardworking and dedicated, with strong multitasking skills and the ability to lift heavy items.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- RF scanner: 2 years (preferred)
- Warehouse management: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
