As the State Manager South Australia, you will be responsible for strategic direction in accordance with the corporate plan and work plan activities. You will achieve this through oversight of performance measures, providing clear and concise leadership, astute financial and business performance management, and exceptional partnerships with key stakeholders to deliver an unwavering level of service to your clients.

Key functions will include:

- Monitor financial and contractual performance across the state and report important trends/changes to the General Manager Facilities Maintenance.
- Oversee the direction and implementation of strategic projects and initiatives aimed at increasing performance, building service capability, and enhancing the reputation of the organisation
- Monitor financial performance against approved budgets and assist with the preparation of operational and capital expenditure budgets
- Provide leadership to the State senior leadership team ensuring business, financial, contractual, staff performance management and development activities are managed in accordance with company expectations.
- Be the key representative at State level with all stakeholders in line with contract agreements on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.

To succeed in this position, you will have worked at a state operational manager level previously and been key in driving performance and business growth across a head contractor or service provider agreement.

Key experience will include:

- Demonstrated initiative to understand commercial market forces and business environments that may impact company operations
- A track record of leading leaders. Empowering them through clear communication and data led decisions to foster continual improvement, deliver on business objectives and encourage further development.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- High levels of adaptability and flexibility with a natural ability to manage change, including regulatory and legislative change
- Experience working within the community housing sector would be highly regarded
