As a Contracts Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our client's contract management process.

You will be responsible for ensuring the effective administration, compliance, and performance of contracts, while fostering strong relationships with our suppliers. Your expertise in contract management and negotiation will be essential in maintaining our client's high standards and maximising the value derived from key contracts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyse and interpret contractual terms and conditions to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers and legal counsel, to provide expert advice on contract-related matters.
- Negotiate contract variations and amendments, ensuring favourable outcomes for our organization.
- Monitor and evaluate contract performance, tracking expenditures, and preparing accurate reports.
- Proactively engage with suppliers to maintain positive relationships, evaluate performance, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Resolve contract disputes and claims in a professional and efficient manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in all contract-related activities.
- Drive continuous improvement in contract management processes and contribute to the development of best practices.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Significant experience within a similar role, within the resources sector, well regarded
- Solid understanding of contract law and legal principles, with experience in contract negotiation and administration.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
