- Salary Range: $92,302 - $96,191 + Attractive Superannuation

The Grants and Hubs Branch is responsible for delivery of most of DVA’s grant programs, including design and delivery of annual, ad hoc and one-off grants, delivery of the Veterans’ and Families Hubs Program and associated initiatives. The work of the Branch has a high profile in both Government and the ex-service community and assists DVA to deliver community-driven outcomes to support the veteran community.

Our team members must deliver effective, high-quality results, whilst supporting and enabling each other through sharing of their expertise and technical knowledge. They work closely with the veteran community, including a wide range of ex-service and community organisations, federal, state and territory government agencies, and a range of internal and other external stakeholders. Additionally, our team members promote a healthy and safe workplace environment, and model ethical behaviour in accordance with the APS Code of Conduct and APS Values.

We are looking for motivated self-starters with strong grants management, and / or contract management skills, communication skills, or the proven ability to attain and further develop these skills quickly. The successful applicants will be passionate about designing and delivering grants and projects to support the veteran community and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.

The successful applicants will have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including at senior levels. You will work with a high level of autonomy, operating under broad direction in a fast-paced and busy environment.

**Duties**
- supporting the delivery of grants and projects through the lifecycle of grants, utilising project management tools, especially providing administration and governance support
- contributing to grant processes and advice through development of briefing packs
- monitoring progress against grants and project delivery working closely with other areas of DVA and the Community Grants Hub
- monitoring and updating relevant reporting, and providing insights to manage grants, and project delivery
- developing and maintaining compliant and useful grants and or project templates and standard operating procedures
- reviewing and contributing to grants and / project administration policies and frameworks
- drafting and contributing to responses to ministerial and other requests and collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

**Eligibility**
- Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
- All applicants external to DVA offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a pre-engagement screening check, even if they have a security clearance. The screening check is conducted in accordance with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework requirements.
