This Administration / Lifestyle Officer is a newly created role and
**p**resents an exciting opportunity to use your skills to create a positive living environment and the effective coordination of operations in our Berwick Brae Gardens Retirement Village. The primary responsibility of this role is the ongoing coordination of activities and day-to-day assistance to residents to deliver appropriate and varied lifestyle activities to meet the individual needs and interests of the residents. This includes assessing and reviewing the lifestyle needs of all residents and evaluating the activities program to ensure positive resident outcomes. It includes managing and coordinating resident volunteers, encouraging participation, and ensuring a pleasant and engaging environment is maintained.
**What you bring**:
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills including experience liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Client relationship skills to quickly engage residents to feel orientated and at home and ensure all residents make the most of the retirement living experience.
- Experience in organizing activities and events within a retirement living environment.
- Ability to actively engage and be instrumental in providing exceptional service.
- Experience in a retirement living/community housing setting and familiarity with resident requirements within a retirement living/community housing context.
- Well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks.
- Ability to operate autonomously and respond in a timely and systematic fashion.
- Driver’s license and Police Check
