Are you an experienced Sales executive with a proven track record of managing sales teams in competitive markets? Local News Group is looking for a motivated and self-driven leader to guide our operations and contribute to our growth across Ipswich, Redlands, and Bayside.

Local News Group operates three newspapers in the Bayside, Ipswich and Redlands, along with two popular magazines in Logan and Ipswich. Our media outlets serve as the community's leading source of news, insights, and storytelling. We pride ourselves on our commitment in building strong relationships within the communities we serve.

**Position**: General Manager - Sales

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day Sales operations of our newspapers and magazines.
- Lead and motivate a sales team to exceed revenue targets and drive market growth.
- Develop innovative strategies to expand our audience reach and bolster advertising sales.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to align sales goals with content excellence.
- Cultivate robust business relationships and partnerships within the community.
- Analyze market trends and adjust business strategies accordingly.
- Be a brand ambassador and represent Local News Group at industry events.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in sales management, preferably in a media-related industry.
- Demonstrable success in team leadership and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the local market and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead staff and engage stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing industry.
