About the role Reporting to the Chief of Performance, the Head of Performance Coach Development is responsible for creating a world-leading coaching community that fosters high-performing environments where players thrive. This is achieved by: - Elevating the quality of performance coaching in Australia, ensuring that coaches "Know the Level" of world-class coaching practice and player development, and "Be the Level" in their daily execution of performance programs - Overseeing Performance Coach education & development - Lead the next phase of digitalisation for the Tennis Australia Player Development Matrix - Fostering a connected and collaborative performance coaching network nationally - Facilitating the ongoing development and refinement of the Performance team philosophy, including the operationalisation of character attributes, coaching approach and high-performance culture About you With a passion for tennis and a strong desire to contribute to the growth of our game, you will possess significant experience coaching performance tennis players and delivering tennis performance coaching education. Additionally, you will bring: - Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills - Knowledge, skills and experience in creating dynamic, engaging content and learning opportunities for coaches - Technology capability, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and other multimedia development packages for resource design - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally - Tennis Coaching qualification - minimum Performance Coach Level 3 or equivalent - Tertiary qualification in education, physical education, sport science, human movement - You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
