We are seeking motivated and professional individuals to join our Member Services team on a part time basis.

Reporting to the Member Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests whilst promoting Club membership and assisting with the delivery of promotions and entertainment at both the Belmore and Lakemba premises.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in working across both Canterbury Reception and Entertainment and Promotions.

**The successful applicant will be responsible for the following**:
**Reception**
- Responding to general enquiries and ensuring all member and guest enquiries receive the highest level of assistance both in person and over the phone;
- Promoting and upselling Club membership products and services;
- Managing and directing incoming calls accordingly throughout Canterbury’s relevant departments; and
- Attending to mail and over the counter deliveries.

**Entertainment and Promotions**
- Assisting with the delivery of entertainment and promotions including bingo and raffles;
- Selling tickets and/or entries as required;
- Assisting with setting up and re-setting of show rooms including room layout, table setting, equipment and general cleanliness of the room during and after a performance;
- Preparing and displaying promotional prizes; and
- Distributing promotional prizes to winning patrons as required.

**To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes**:

- Current NSW RSA & RCG Competency Card (essential)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Exceptional grooming and presentation.
- Knowledge and understanding of Canterbury’s products and services.
- Self-motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitude and passion for customer service.
- Flexibility to work a rotating 24 hours, 7-day week roster including, mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays.
