The RoleSanitarium is seeking a dynamic and experienced corporate Communications Manager to help us tell our story and deliver strategic communications that engage our staff and stakeholders, build brand love, and support business needs and outcomes.

This mid-level role sits within our Marketing & Communications team and reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs & Communications ANZ.

We're looking for an experienced communications practitioner who excels at strategic thinking and internal partnerships. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to business teams, while ideating, developing and executing comprehensive and compelling communications plans and content that inspires, informs, engages and influences across our Trans-Tasman communications touch points and channels.

What You'll Do:

• Act strategically to advise internal business teams and stakeholders on effective, integrated, communications strategy, shaping and delivering clear, aligned messaging that tells the story of Team Sanitarium – its people, purpose and products.
• Embed best practice communications approaches across a dispersed audience and broad range of internal and corporate communications channels.
• Ideate and execute communications content strategy across a mix of internal and external channels.
• Research, write and develop compelling storytelling content across communications channels including business updates, executive messages, employee eDMs, social posts, publications, speeches, videos, briefs, articles, scripts, digital signage and presentations.
• Represent the Communications team, building strong relationships with leaders, business units, internal teams, and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.
• Track effectiveness of communications campaigns and messaging across external channels through analytics, metrics, and stakeholder feedback. Generate regular insights reports that demonstrate communication effectiveness and guide strategy refinement.
• Lead, influence, support, and manage a small team of communications professionals, working to help them grow, develop, and set team direction aligned to broader team deliverables.
• Work effectively and collaboratively with NZ Communications Manager and communications support team on Trans-Tasman communications strategy development and execution.

About You

You're the ultimate storyteller – able to maximise every opportunity and channel to tell our Sanitarium stories with care, heart and interest. You're a confident, experienced and strategic communicator who knows how to craft messages that connect, engage, and influence. You thrive in a collaborative environment, instinctively balance creativity with strategic planning, and are equally comfortable writing a compelling story, advising internal business team members and leaders, or leading a high-performing team to communications outputs across every channel. With strong experience of delivering integrated communications strategies, you're passionate about purpose-led work and bring a proactive, hands-on approach to delivering impactful campaigns and content across a broad range of audiences to drive action and awareness.

• A degree in Communications, or a related field.
• 6–9 years' experience in a mid or mid-senior level communications role, ideally within a values-based or purpose-led organisation.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills across formats.
• Strong capability in digital and integrated communications strategy and execution.
• Experience managing and mentoring direct reports and team members, and working cross-functionally as a trusted advisor, in a matrixed, dispersed or complex employee environment.
• High emotional intelligence and confidence and experience advising on best practice communications.
