**PATIENT SERVICES ASSISTANT- MERCY MENTAL HEALTH**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- The Patient Services Assistant will be an integral member of our hospital team and provide patient centric cleaning duties, food and beverage services, and general ward and patient support.
- Full time/Part time day shifts working every second weekend.
- Rostered 10 hour shifts with rostered ADO.
- Day shift
- Located at Mercy Mental Health, Clare Moore Building (Werribee)

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Health Services Assistant Certificate III or equivalent or working towards completing
- Current Food Handling certificate
- Excellent customer service skills and have a passion for attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to understand Patients’ diet codes
- A commitment to policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and members of the public

- Mercy Mental Health (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in south west metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
