The City of Mandurah is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Recreation Services team in the permanent, full-time role of Community Facility Booking Officer. This position is responsible for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused booking service for the City’s hireable community facilities, including halls, reserves, sporting assets and public open space.
This position involves providing end-to-end support throughout the booking process, as well as managing ongoing relationships with regular and seasonal facility hirers. You will also play a key role in promoting the activation of community spaces and maximising their use.

**But enough about us, let’s talk about you**
You will:
- Administer and manage bookings across City owned and managed facilities, halls, pavilions, open spaces, and sporting reserves (herein referred to as _hireable City assets_) to ensure optimum usage, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with the community, commercial operators, not for profit groups, sporting clubs and recreation groups.
- Collaborate with City Officers in implementing the Asset Management Program and cleaning requirements for Council’s hireable City assets, including managing bookings and utilisation to facilitate works scheduling.
- Maximise the use of hireable community assets and identify opportunities to enhance utilisation through effective strategies for promotion
**To be successful you will have**:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or relevant work experience (2 to 3 years)
- Hold a current unrestricted C class national driver’s licence
- Demonstrated capacity to deliver a community facilities booking service through an online platform
- Demonstrated experience in delivering a quality customer service experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of community organisations and working with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work some evenings as required.
- Understanding of Local Government environment (desirable)
- Sound Financial Management skills to oversee accounts receivable process within the facilities booking system
- As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test.

This permanent full-time position attracts a competitive Level 4 annual remuneration of $81,985 - $88,153 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience and a wide range of benefits to reward your contribution.
