What does the job look like?

Are you ready for a change? Linfox is hiring shunt/tug drivers with an MC/HC license for their Larapinta and Heathwood, QLD retail operations. Your main role will involve operating vehicles to move trailers around the yard, with occasional delivery work. The role will offer 12-hour shifts with overtime opportunities, ensuring you maximise your earnings. These positions are permanent full-time roles, providing job stability and room for growth.

Shifts Available:

- Monday to Friday: 5PM start

Key areas:

- Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times
- Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
- Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
- Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner
- Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation

Are you the one?

You can demonstrate:

- Current MC/HC Licence
- Previous experience delivering goods to retail customers and docks safely while efficiently handling high volumes of work.
- Familiarity with operating tug vehicles or working in a yard setting would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
- Commitment to manage fatigue and an understanding of shift work
- Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
