What does the job look like?
- Step into a hands-on role as a
- Casual Transport Allocator

at our Larapinta, QLD site, supporting one of Australia’s largest supermarket supply chains. Working 12-hour shifts starting at
- 6 AM or 6 PM

, including
- weekends

(as rostered and based on operational needs), you’ll be responsible for ensuring drivers are allocated efficiently and that metro deliveries are planned and dispatched without delay. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure in a high-volume operation and contribute to keeping essential goods moving across Brisbane. Key areas:

- Allocate drivers and manage metro delivery runs
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery timeframes
- Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate run sheets and compliance records
- Keep customers informed of delivery updates
- Complete daily safety and COR checks, including yard and fatigue audits

Are you the one?

You’re calm under pressure, eager to learn, and ready to support a fast-moving operation. You can demonstrate:

- Experience in load planning, driver or fleet allocation (highly regarded but not essential)
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills; TMS experience is a bonus
- Strong knowledge of Brisbane metro area
- Ability to stay organised and focused under pressure
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts starting at 6 AM or 6 PM, as rostered
