What does the job look like?
Are you an experienced HC driver looking to join a reputable and safety-focused team? We're looking for Casual Heavy Combination/ Tug truck Drivers to join our Retail Business Unit based in Larapinta, QLD, delivering essential goods from DCs to stores. This casual opportunity offers flexibility from Monday to Friday with weekend work available- Morning and afternoon shifts. Key areas:

  • Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
  • Complying with the Linfox coupling and uncoupling procedure plus the ability to work unsupervised
  • Able to assist in loading and unloading when required
  • Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, managers and customers on a day-to-day basis

  • Current and valid HC license
  • Flexibility to work on weekends
  • Experience with Tug work in the yard
  • History of safe work practices

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proactive approach and positive attitude
