About Us:
Cavendish Road State High School is a co-educational state secondary school, located in Holland Park approximately 15 minutes from the city.
About the Role:
Multiple vacancies - These positions are:
23 hours per week Monday to Friday splits shifts per day.
16 hours per week Monday to Friday Afternoon shifts only.
14 hours per week Thursday and Friday split shifts per day.
Split shift hours are worked between 4:00-8:30am and 1:30-6:00pm
Responsibilities include:
Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors, cupboards, concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces
Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming of floors, removal of graffiti, hosing outside facilities
Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
Activating and disarming school security systems as required. Locking and unlocking buildings.
Reporting security, safety, damage concerns to the Principal/Business Manager or Facility Manager
About You:
Be able to work in a team as well as autonomously
Be a self-starter to support the needs of an ever-changing environment
Mandatory requirements:
A criminal history check will be initiated on the successful applicant.
In accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000, the successful applicant must hold a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card).
