**What you’ll be doing**:
The objective of the Operations Systems Specialist role is to be an expert in core Airline Operational systems, specifically Integrated Operations Centre and Flight Operations systems. You will have or will gain strong functional and technical knowledge about these systems, including skills that will allow you to configure and test solutions to meet business needs.

Collaboration is a key component of this role, amongst your team and division, across the wider business and with system vendors. You will gather and translate business requirements into solutions, translate the technical to the end user and ensure our systems are set up to support Operations teams and enhance operational capability.

**You’ll be great in this role if you have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in information management, Business Management or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 2-5 years'+ experience in a systems role, such as System Analyst, Business Analyst or Systems Support Specialist
- Extensive experience with system configuration and testing
- Proven experience in managing system version upgrades and releasees
- Demonstrated ability to define business requirements and translate them to effective solutions
- Experience in project management
- Familiarity with highly regulated and safety-focused environments
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Strong stakeholder management ability

**Desirable but not essential**:

- Proficient in using systems utilized by the Integrated Operations Centre and Flight Operations, particularly Movement Manager
- Previous experience in a flight operations role
- Experience working in a Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulated environment
- Proven experience in solution design and/or development
