Job Title: Operations Technology Coordinator

The successful candidate will drive the reliability and performance of our Water & Waste Services technology as an experienced professional. This role oversees SCADA, communications, hardware, and software across key sites, provides expert advice on OT strategy, and leads improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Development – Provide specialist advice and lead the development and implementation of the Operational Technology (OT) strategy, ensuring continuous improvement while maintaining reliable services.
  • Systems Management – Oversee the operation, maintenance, and improvement of SCADA, communications, and other OT systems across Water & Waste Services infrastructure.
  • User Support & Training – Deliver high-level technical assistance, manage service requests, provide end-user training, and implement best practice client-focused support.
  • Network & Infrastructure Oversight – Manage OT network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, switches, servers, UPS, security systems, and remote access environments.
  • Compliance & Standards – Ensure staff, systems, and processes align with endorsed policies, standards, and industry best practice, including secure access management.
  • On-Call & Supplier Liaison – Participate in after-hours support, manage on-call rosters, and liaise with external suppliers and consultants to maintain service reliability.

For success, you will require a tertiary qualification in Information Technology, demonstrated extensive experience in operational technology systems, and strong project management and trouble shooting skills.
