The community team creates word-of-mouth excitement and grows the lululemon collective by sharing our best in the world technical product with key fitness and lifestyle influencers, media, local partners, by creating best-in-class experiences and working with the Brand team to amplify this to the collective. The community team drives the local strategy and builds a plan that comprises broad and deep tactics to accelerate growth and long-term brand love and are best in the world at building relationships, online to offline tactics and delivery of KPIs.
A day in the life
The Community Programs Lead combines high-level vision and strategy to deepen and grow our current programs, including our Ambassador Program and our Community Wellbeing Partners, through a local and global lens. You may also create and drive exciting new programs to meet business objectives, working cross functionally with all departments in the business.
You are responsible for the foundational model and programming of community across Australia and New Zealand stores which includes the long-term vision for store community as it relates to brand resonance and retention, IDEA integration alongside the short-term operational management of tools and tactics. You drive the strategy and execution for how lululemon leverages store Ambassadors - local leaders in wellbeing - to increase brand resonance and expand reach through local relationships. The Community Program Lead executes development of all resources and tools to support implementation of the Store Ambassador Program by store teams across all Australia / New Zealand stores. They will partner will other members of the Community Team to ensure a seamless integration of the Ambassador experience into other Community Engagement programs developed for stores. They will be responsible for recapping and storytelling analytics of program success including bench fill, gift card spends, Ambassador experience satisfaction, database accuracy, and photography completion. Design the Aus/NZ store ambassador program taking into account into the market business objectives and Global Ambassador framework
- You create and drive the vision and strategy for community programs and experiences related to them across all channels in Australia and New Zealand
- You develop and nurture strong relationships with the community - stakeholders, agencies, suppliers, partners, athletes and Ambassadors
- to support in planning and executing community programs in Australia and New Zealand
- You work cross functionally with teams in Operations, Brand, Community, Product, Finance, Legal, IT and Stores to bring community programs to life, managing their scope, schedule, creative, budget, communication and quality
- You are responsible for the planning, implementation and delivery of local events and experiences that are affiliated with the community programs you own
- You lead training and coaching to reach program standards, and hold Stores and Regional Managers accountable to all components of community programs
- You project manage teams for key community programs, ensuring everyone understands the processes, timelines, dependencies, individual accountability and responsibilities and measures of success
- You contribute to the development of Event Specialist Helping Hands on an as-needed basis
- You support pipeline growth within the community programs function
- You contribute to creating the vision and strategy for lululemon events and experiences using your insight into the community and sport industry, working alongside others in the community team, stores and regional managers
- You are responsible, with the support of the CFL program, for integrating the Store Ambassador Program into our brand calendar and key community moments
**Qualifications**:
- Strong program and project management skills with the ability take on new programs created by lululemon, such as the future membership program
- A self-starter program manager with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential new partners, athletes, and suppliers
