About the Role
The rapid growth and evolving environmental landscape of ANZ Plus & Customer & Identity Services has exponentially increased the complexity of our operational management, with a need to increased fidelity for reporting.
The Finance Analyst will work closely with the Portfolio Finance & Workforce teams to drive the changes and improvements required to create efficiency in the process supporting workforce planning, financial management and governance of spend. Data and insights proactively generated and shared with the lead roles will help influence spend management, improve ROI and more closely manage squad formation and future recruitment.
What could your day look like?
Drive improvements in manual processes, ensuring one source of truth for all reporting
Work closely with our Data Analyst, driving reporting uplift through Tableau
Accurately track our workforce, aligning them to the externally funded work for the correct period
Work closely with the Operations Team ensuring all Technology related recoveries are accurate, including fortnightly NTB recoveries
Simplify processes and drive insights using available Finance & Workforce data
Capital governance required to ensure that spend is appropriately classified
Use available information to improve governance & reporting across Technology Managed Service commitments (including software contracts) and Rest of Bank Technology commitments
Develop deep contextual understanding of financial performance drivers and identify cost efficiency opportunities
Propose solutions and improvements to cost/spend related processes eg VEPs, asset management, vendors, Ariba etc
Build collaborative relationships with colleagues to enable the achievement of objectives and integrate effectively as part of the ANZx team
Role works closely with Finance, Project Accounting and IMDO.
