At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this, we need a talented Data Analyst to join our Data Enablement chapter within our Australian Business Transformation. Your mission is to derive compelling insights and identify opportunities to shape the direction of our customer experience. You will be working within a cross functional team and driving end to end delivery of insights.
**Your key accountabilities will include**:
Sourcing and validating data from a variety of sources, combining, synthesising and analysing to generate insights and support strategic decisions
Generating, monitoring, presenting and analysing relevant customer insights, costs, benefits, and risks for customers, clients and cohort products. This could include business casing, what if scenarios and opportunity sizing & assessments
Working with teams across Data Enablement to continuously improve our data assets and reporting capability
Ensuring that data is managed in compliance with internal policies and external regulations
What will your day look like
Embedding within Agile teams you will be individually accountable to ensure that quantitative analysis is performed across a number of customer and business driven use cases
You will be working with key product owners to formulate details hypotheses to work on which will fundamentally change the direction of the squad
Working with data will be a key part of the role including the need to discover, identify, curate and model the data appropriately to drive insights
All insights will need to be presented back to key stakeholder and will require the development of interactive reports and dashboards

But back to some of the skills
- Highly proficient in coding/scripting languages for analysis, data manipulation and presentation (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau)
Experience in commercial modelling and business casing
Ability to translate quantitative & qualitative information and relay insights through narratives & visual means to all stakeholders (translate technical into non-technical and vice-versa)
Experience working on GCP (or other cloud)
Understanding of retail banking products
Experience in dashboarding helpful (Tableau, QlikSense, PowerBI)
Strong data design skills and understanding of relational and reporting schemas and other database concepts
