Our Community Directorate is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and active community, and we are looking for an enthusiastic Sport Strategy Advisor to help us achieve our goals.Our Sport and Leisure Services Unit is at the forefront of implementing the Sutherland Shire Sports Strategy and Leisure Strategy, ensuring we cater to the diverse needs of our community while maintaining a strong focus on customer service.

**About the role**:
The Sport Strategy Advisor is an essential position that focuses on the development, planning, and management of sport and recreation facilities and programs within our council area. You will lead key projects that align with our strategic objectives, providing guidance and expertise to enhance our sport and recreation services.

In this role, you will take charge of executing strategic projects, developing key documents and policies, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of our strategies.

**Who we are looking for**:
We are seeking a passionate individual who is ready to make a meaningful contribution to our community.
- Tertiary qualifications in Sports Management, Project Management, Recreation Planning, Urban Planning, or equivalent industry experience.
- A current Driver’s License.
- A proven track record in supporting the delivery of strategic projects and providing expert advice to stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building skills coupled with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving best practises in sport management.

- **Package**:from** **$91,120 - $96,591 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- **Hours of work**:Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week, 19 day month flex time arrangement available.
