A rare opportunity has become available for a **National Work, Health & Safety Manager **to join a national leader, at the forefront of servicing the poultry section. They are committed to delivering high-quality products and services while prioritising work, health and safety initiatives.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and leading the WHS team, driving company safety culture & ensuring compliance and fostering a safe working environment.

**Key responsibilities;**
- Management of 2 direct reports
- Responsibility to support site teams across 20 locations nationally
- Developing annual WHS improvement programs
- Conducting investigations of safety-related incidents
- Working closely with senior managers to develop and review safety strategies
- Scheduling and delivering WHS training and ensuring compliance
- Reviewing safety performance of each business unit against benchmarks and monitoring performance
- Overseeing the Emergency Management Program, including organizing annual emergency and evacuation training for all sites
- Working closely with key clients
- Regular travel - interstate and regionally

**Skills/Requirements;**
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in a Senior Health & Safety position _(Blue collar essential - Poultry or Agriculture highly preferable)_
- Relevant qualifications in WHS or similar
- High level think, with a strong ability to connect with people and drive culture
- Proven experience in developing policies & procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting and data analysis
- Physically fit and able to travel interstate
- Current drivers license and a reliable vehicle for site visits

**Salary**: $165,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- WHS Management: 10 years (preferred)

- Full Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Austral, NSW: Relocate before starting work (required)
