Contributions Planning Officer

Council is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative thinker to our Contributions Planning team in our City Planning Department.
This position will be responsible for the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of Council’s development contribution plans and related policies, voluntary planning agreements and infrastructure planning activities to ensure that future development has the necessary infrastructure to support a sustainable and highly liveable city.
As the Contributions Planning Officer you will have the opportunity to identify and lead strategic funding agreements and arrangements for infrastructure projects, across all sections of Council as well as advising on State and Federal agencies policies.
You will have an opportunity to lead identified key projects including the development of a 7.11 contribution plan for the Aerotropolis precincts, a comprehensive review of Council current Local Infrastructure Contribution Plans and a comprehensive review of Council’s Strategic infrastructure and land acquisition projects.
Council recognise that contribution planning is a diverse role, therefore we are seeking a suitably qualified person in various fields or someone with extensive experience in areas that are aligned to contributions planning.
Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.
