Portfolio Analyst

**About the Role**
This a fantastic opportunity for graduate analysts to join our rapidly growing Risk division You will be supporting the Credit Risk Insights & Analytics team across all aspects of risk measurement and portfolio analysis.

There will be the expectation for you to act as a strategic risk partner to consolidate and interpret data and provide valuable product portfolio risk insights to senior management. You will be integral to the production of BAU management reporting; however, you will also need to be versatile and able to deal with ad-hoc requests from time-to-time.

Precision and accuracy within the division is of the highest priority and so is the timely delivery of key metrics and commentary on portfolio performance and risk profiles. You will work across various retail and business lending products and play a key role in the development of structured data sets to assist reporting and modelling.

**About you**
Your success in this role will rely on your analytical thinking and ability to translate data insights into business benefits, as well as your ability to analyse and interpret financial data and present it in a logical and consumable manner.

You will also hold or be about to complete your tertiary qualifications in mathematics, finance, statistics, actuarial sciences, computer science, economics, physics, engineering, or a similar discipline.

This role will suit someone who has a passion for mathematics, analytics or similar. It would be ideal if you had some experience using programming languages ie. SAS, SQL, VBA, R, Python, and others. There is also a high preference for this person to have had exposure to data extraction and transformation.
