**As Principal Portfolio Analyst in the Portfolio Management Office (PfMO), some of your responsibilities will include:

- Provide high-quality advice and evidence-based analysis to support decisionmaking for the portfolio definition process and ongoing management of the 10-year transport infrastructure portfolio plan, including data amalgamation, categorisation of portfolio data, complex funding management, scenario development, financial performance reporting, portfolio-systems management, and development of options and recommendations.
- Contribute to and support various PfMO tasks across the portfolio, program and benefits management disciplines, including portfolio-level risks and issues management, benefits and program management assurances, and statewide portfolio-systems management.
- Develop and update TMR and whole-of-government policies, strategies and/or infrastructure plans; and provide advice and input into various information requests, submissions, briefing notes and recommendations.
- Manage the investment data modelling and inputs for the 10-year transport infrastructure outlook and pipeline of investment priorities, including for the annual 10-year Plan (to meet the new Australian Government requirement) and Queensland Treasury's 10-year Capital Outlook, both of which have direct linkages to the 2032 Delivery Plan.
- Proactively contribute to business improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency of TMRs' portfolio, program and benefits management approaches, including methodologies, standards, guidelines, processes and tools.
- Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders on transport infrastructure portfolio-related matters and actively participate in conversations that build TMRwidecapability, taking a customer-focused approach.
- Support the manager, represent the team and mentor colleagues to develop and promote best practice portfolio, program and benefits management through continuous improvement, knowledge-sharing and a positive team culture.
- Support the Government's Objectives for the Community and Ministerial Deliverables through its involvement in prioritising and programming of road and transport infrastructure across Queensland.

To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

- Experience in assessing risks and issues, managing assurance processes and/or leading business change initiatives related to portfolio, program and benefits management approaches, guidelines, processes or tools.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members, contributing to a learning and knowledge-sharing culture.
- Knowledge and certification in Portfolio, Program and Project Offices (P3O(R)) or Managing Successful Programs (MSP(R)) is desirable.
