**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking a Student Support Coordinator to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.
The Student Support Coordinator enables the provision of student services and administrative support for the Faculty’s academic programs. The position supervises a team of student support staff across both Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses. That team is tasked with delivering high quality, effective and efficient administration support and specialist service to achieve and maintain excellence in client service. The position works collaboratively with all Faculty staff to facilitate the delivery of student support and administration services in accordance with University guidelines. The Student Support Coordinator maintains regular contact with central departments such as Student Administration and HiQ in order to facilitate an enterprise model of service delivery. The position provides strategic support in line with Faculty goals, and through compliance with and the integration of various University policies, systems and procedures. The Student Support Coordinator reports to the Manager, Specialist Student Support.

**About the area**
- Office of the Deputy Dean sits within the Faculty of Health, Academic Division and is responsible for QUT has embraced a collaborative approach to improving the health of our nation, bridging the gap between science and better health through a focus on prevention, evidence, innovation and real outcomes.
The Faculty of Health is led by the Executive Dean and the Executive Management Team comprising the deputy dean, heads of schools, and other senior faculty staff. The faculty’s schools are established around disciplines with affinities that promote integration and collaboration in teaching and research, and provide a sustainable foundation upon which to build areas of strength. Its organisational structure includes the:

**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree in conjunction with subsequent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to display initiative, contribute new ideas, critically evaluate current systems and processes and contribute to service-delivery improvements.
- High level written and interpersonal, communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with a wide range of people at all levels of a large organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a high performing team of client service staff and ability to plan and manage resources for peak periods.
