**Job Description**:
Working in a close-knit and high-performing team, you will provide support for payroll including preparing, reconciling and finalising fortnightly pay.
- Finalise the fortnightly payroll process including the clearing of pay errors, making salary adjustments where required, and reconciling the payroll to the general ledger.
- Manage the return of salary overpayments made to staff and scholarship holders
- Manage transfer of bank files for payment of salaries.
- Prepare and process off-cycle payments.
- Produce and follow up exception reporting for all paid appointments.
- This is a fixed term, full time position and can be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus._

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience and working knowledge of payroll systems in large organisations.
- Strong ability across payroll, finance, HR and reporting.
- Analytical and reporting and analysis skills, with the ability to problem solve.
- Experience with PeopleSoft (desirable).
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Additional Information
**Salary range**

HEW Level 5 Base Salary $70,491 - $79,079 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total package is in the range $82,474 - $92,522 per annum.
