**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The primary purpose of the Cost Controller role is to provide cost control support to the Asset Services team for the projects that Asset Services execute.

**More about the role**:

- Ensure all cost control systems and tools are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
- Creation of monthly forecasts in Prism G2 in accordance with the subproject schedule and Cost Controls reporting calendar.
- Review, develop and submit monthly accruals (Actual Cost to Work Performed - ACWP).
- Monitor and analyse actuals in Prism G2 for accuracy of information, working closely with Asset Services Senior Financial Analyst to provide insights on performance.
- Provide cost variance analysis and commentary.
- Support Change Management requirements with cost impact assessments and Liaise with Projects Owners/Field Superintendents to maintain accurate project forecasts.
- Continually improve tools, processes, and reports to enable effective cost planning and decision making on work program prioritisation, and track costs on an ongoing basis.
- Assist finance with budgeting and forecasting.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will come with excellent multi-tasking, prioritisation and time management skills with the ability to manage numerous tasks at any one time in a demanding environment.

**More about you**:

- Demonstrated functional knowledge of electronic cost control tools, including spreadsheets; Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs. PRISM G2 is highly desirable.
- Experience in SAP
- Demonstrated technical competence in the area of cost tracking and reporting.
- Ability to interpret cost and schedule data for forecasting purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver good quality work with high levels of accuracy.
- **This is a 6 month contract opportunity**
