To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Cost Controller to join our team.

**The Role**

**Reporting to the Cost Control Manager**, the purpose of this position is to deliver accurate and quality cost engineering on significant capital scope budgets. Drive project cost outcomes to desired outcomes, by building and delivering cost engineering that allows robust early warning signals that are reflected through project forecasts.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

**In addition you will**:

- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Develop cost breakdown and work breakdown structures, document cost time and resource from phased cost estimates.
- Guide accurate monthly project cost reports through identification of variances, value of work done and changes against approved authority for expenditure.
- Implement change management process for projects.
- Providing guidance on trend analysis and the assessment of change impacts on cost.
- Establish, manage and monitor contractor reporting requirements and cost and performance reporting requirements.
- Engage with Planning Engineers to ensure contractor and internal schedules are integrated with cost data for forecasting.

**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

**To be considered for this role, you will ideally have**:

- Engineering Degree and/or Certification as Project Services Manager or equivalent.
- Significant experience in roles where the organisation is the operator.
- A high degree of skill in written and oral communications.
- Experience in unconventional oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
