**About the opportunity**

As the **Sydney Facility Manager**, you’ll be at the forefront of our Delivery operations. Leading a dedicated team, you will drive efficiency and innovation to optimise our services. Your efforts will help us achieve unparalleled performance and safety standards, making a real impact in our operations and the communities we serve.

**What you’ll deliver with us**

In this pivotal role, you will:

- Oversee and enhance operational activities to meet our network objectives, focusing on safety and service excellence.
- Implement strategic initiatives that promote efficiency and sustainability / sustainable across the facilities.
- Collaborate closely with your team and report directly to the State Operations Manager, while working alongside other Facility Managers and senior leadership.

**You’ll also**
- Manage resource allocation to ensure optimal service delivery and performance.
- Develop and execute communication strategies that enhance team engagement and operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

**About you**

We’re looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about operational excellence and fostering a culture of safety and innovation. You thrive in a collaborative environment and have a track record of motivating teams to achieve exceptional results.

**You’ll also need**
- Experience in operational management, ideally within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards, including Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations.
- Proven experience in financial management and driving sustainability / sustainable initiatives.
