Receptionist

Ready 2 Swim is a learn to swim school for babies, toddlers, children and adults. We offer clean, modern and private facilities away from the busy crowds and distractions of the bigger learn to swim centres. Our pool is indoors and is heated to a lovely 32-33 degrees.

Ready 2 Swim is now in it’s fourth year of operation and is growing strong in numbers.

We are looking for 1-2 casual receptionist/supervisor to join our team.

Saturday Mornings 7.30am-12.00pm and Saturday afternoons 12.00pm-4.30pm

The position of receptionist is to assist with the daily operation of the swim school while providing direction and leadership to our Swimming Instructors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greeting customers, you are the face of the business
- Deal with questions and enquiries
- Collecting and entering customer details into the database
- Collecting payments
- Serving customers
- Scheduling lessons
- Answering telephone calls and enquiries
- Complete swimmer assessments
- Pool testing
- Cleaning duties

To be successful in this role you must:

- Demonstrate outstanding customer service
- Have current working with Children Check
- Have current First Aid & CPR certificates
- Have excellent time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be open to feedback
- Have experience in handling customer enquiries
- Can work independently and a part of our team
- Is highly motivated and is great with communication
- Be willing to obtain Austswim Teacher of swimming & water safety qualification (at no cost to you)
- Previous experience in a similar position or at least 5 years teaching experience

Ready 2 Swim is an AUSTSWIM Registered Swim School.

**Job Types**: Casual, Part-time
Part-time hours: 4-9 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
