**The role**

As a Head of Portfolio Governance you will lead the delivery of portfolio management strategy across the division and ensure that investments are governed in line with the Customer Investment Slate framework. You will enable strategic outcomes to be maximised through the provision of advice, insights and recommendations related to the Enterprise Operations Investment Portfolio.
**Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
- Capture and report all initiatives (agnostic of funding) to have a single divisional portfolio view through the change lifecycle from idea initiation, concept, delivery, transition to services and benefits to ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency to inform portfolio insights and planning
- Prioritise initiatives according to delivery of enterprise benefits and strategic agenda for relevant division transformation
- Provide advice and input into portfolio sequencing activities to minimise contention points and maximise and front load portfolio returns
- Financial governance including monitoring and making recommendations to resolve forecast variance against the approved Customer Investment Slate
- Portfolio insights to inform: Portfolio scheduling/sequencing, contention, capacity, interdependencies and pipeline management
- Govern the tracking of benefits realised against forecast for all approved initiatives within Frameworks set by Finance Partners
- Governance oversight to ensure initiative are successfully delivering to agreed outcomes and timeframes and remain within allocated budget
- Proactively monitoring risk and assurance requirements within agreed Risk Appetite and managing non-compliance in a timely manner
- Maintain relationship with the Enterprise Operations Finance Partner to ensure alignment between Finance Plan and Portfolio Productivity Benefits
**About you**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at a senior executive level
- Demonstrated experience in change management
- People transition process and organisational design
- Highly experienced in project management methodologies, tools and processes across the project lifecycle
- Manage team of Project Analysts, includes all aspects of delivery & HR accountability
- Extensive business experience within the banking & finance industry or in a consulting environment.
- Experience in running a PMO
- Significant experience leading project delivery team(s)
- Exposure to large scale project management in a large Corporate
- A Tertiary Degree, and/or proven industry experience in Business Management & Accounting and senior Project Management coupled with extensive Business Consulting experience or Business Management
- A project management professional accreditation or working towards one, preferably either an AIPM Certified Practicing Project Practitioner (CPPP) or PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP).
