**Who We Are**

RES (Responsible Entity Services Ltd) is an Australian Financial Services Licence holder specialising in providing responsible entity services to alternative asset classes for wholesale and retail clients. Our managed fund asset classes currently include direct real property, both residential and commercial, and credit, and we are looking to expand.

We are looking for an individual who understands the critical importance of regulatory obligations in the Australian compliance regime, and who values communication and teamwork.

We have built a reputation for attracting and executing quality assets and asset managers, and are led by a professional and commercially-minded leadership team and board of directors. Our objective is to foster both individual and team development. We are focused on building a robust compliance and business platform to scale with our business.

**What You’ll Do**
- Work with a highly-qualified internal compliance team and liaise with specialist external legal advisors
- Oversee fund compliance
- Lead investment management with the support of compliance and support staff
- Advise the compliance team and directors on requirements to meet RES’ compliance obligations
- Review offer documentation, particularly disclosure documents
- Work closely with the compliance team to ensure funds activity aligns with the compliance plan
- Oversee ongoing auditing obligations, including management of external accountants and auditors
- Advise on lodgement of reporting obligations with regulators, such as AUSTRAC, AFCA and ASIC, ahead of specified time frames
- Oversee the corporate compliance calendar to ensure compliance with AFSL or other licence obligations
- Advise on funds design, efficient operations, efficient operations of funds and approval of investor communications in concert with external legal counsel
- Advise on regulatory compliance and risk management obligations
- Oversee implementation and use of RegTech and fund administration systems

**What You Should Have / Know**

**Qualifications (essential)**:you must be qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. business, finance or law) and hold one or more qualifications (e.g. Diploma of Financial Services) that ensure your RG146 compliance.

**Experience (essential)**:experience in an AFSL-approved business for a minimum of three years out of the past five years, or five within the past eight years.

**Agility**: you are able to work in a dynamic environment and are not afraid to push the envelope.

**Motivation and ability to work autonomously**: you’ll be working remotely and have multiple projects and responsibilities to manage at all times. It is imperative that you can advise and keep the company aprised of compliant solutions to challenges that will invariably occur within a rapidly-expanding company.

**Time management**: whilst we do not look over your shoulder, we do have approaches and systems to help you and the broader team meet important time frames. You must be able to proactively manage your own busy schedule to meet deadlines.
