The Sydney Design Studio Manager reports to the Regional Manager ACT/NSW and is part of our highly engaged interior design team. In this varied and rewarding leadership role, your focus will be to ensure your teams members have the capability and commitment to achieve financial and non-financial goals, including providing our clients with a comprehensive understanding of the interior and external products available within our product range. More specifically, you will:

- Clearly communicate the team goals and operational objectives and how they align to broader goals of the group
- Ensure that all team members have the knowledge and capabilities to achieve success in their roles
- Use data and performance statistics to inform decisions that impact the studio
- Demonstrate company values and address any performance issues and challenges effectively and in line with organisation policies and procedures
- Ensure that there is consistency and alignment in the structures and processes so that our customers have exceptional experiences in the studio and throughout the selections process
- Champion the MyChoice and McDonald Jones Homes brand and continuously look for ways to improve our customer experience
- Develop and facilitate training to upskill the team in all aspects of customer service and technical knowledge relevant to their roles

To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment our purpose and core values of MyChoice Design Studio and NEX Building Group along with:

- The ability to create a culture of high performance
- Strong account management skills and the ability to frequently adapt to the scope of work in a fast-paced environment
- Qualifications including a Diploma in Design and Decoration and/or other relevant tertiary qualifications in business and leadership
- Knowledge of residential floor plans, housing contracts as well as knowledge of the electrical side of building a new home
- Be highly organised and able to prioritise and multi-task and delegate tasks
- Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships - internal & external
