**The Client**:
Our client for this position is an Australian Superannuation organisation, they currently have a requirement for a Test Analyst with prior experience in the Superannuation industry that will be responsible for the co-ordination and execution of a comprehensive suite of test cases / scripts to drive the testing of new and existing functions. Initially offered as a 6-month contract the role has a strong likelihood of future extensions.

**The Role**:
In this position you will be providing professional and independent levels of testing for various projects using standard and workable testing practices and techniques as well as ensure that changes to functionality, systems or processes meet the requirements, perform as required and do not adversely impact members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Thorough analysis and investigation of requirements, solution designs, process documentation and functional test cases to ensure that all changes have the appropriate test coverage.
- Complete test design for projects to ensure it meets business requirements, is fit for purpose, consistent and compliant with standards and guidelines.
- Execute end-to-end testing to ensure function, data, process and system integrity is maintained - In collaboration with project team, capture, log and resolve defects ensuring adherence to change management protocols.
- Promote and ensure the use of appropriate testing techniques, methodologies and tools, including risk, issue and defect management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
- Work closely with in-house developers, vendors and other stakeholders on test design and execution.
- Provide accurate test estimates for assigned work, identifying risks, issues and dependencies.
- Provide test support to digital team as required.
- Provide clear and regular communication with stakeholders and team members.

**Required Skills & Specialisms**:

- Experience with testing in a complex Financial Services and digitally focused environment.
- Experience with DevOps, Acurity, Global 360 Workflow, VMware, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project desirable.
- Familiarity with iterative or agile development processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels.
- An ability to liaise with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
- Demonstrated strength in understanding and assessing risk.
- Demonstrated problem resolution skills.
- Excellent analytical & quality assurance skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate and work in teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work with limited direction/supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to establish work priorities and manage tight deadlines.
- Ability to listen to end-users, identify needs, build rapport in a team environment, display empathy and deal with difficult inquiries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications - business or finance discipline preferred.
- ISTQB foundation level certificate required
- Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
