This Support Officer role will work on the NSW Health DeliverEASE project, a new way of managing medical consumables within hospital wards to improve the availability and visibility of medical consumables for clinical staff.

In this project role, the Support Officer will work in the Relay Team and will be responsible for conducting stocktake and reorganising storerooms within the DeliverEASE standards.

Multiple shifts are available perfect for fitting into your busy study/work/life schedule.

Whilst having some knowledge of clinical/medical consumables and stock management processes would be an advantage, we are more focused on finding someone willing to learn new skills and processes to form a part of our wider team.

The most important skills you'll possess will be the ability to identify and accurately record products, have good attention to detail, capable of following instructions and a reliable team player.

**About the opportunity**
You will be responsible for conducting accurate stocktakes of clinical and non-clinical consumables in a timely manner by:

- Identifying stock, extracting expired or excess stock, and recording associated data
- Reorganising stock within storerooms in accordance with the plan layout
- Completing all classification signage and item labelling requirements

Your people skills will allow you to build strong working relationships with clinical staff on hospital wards to assist in finding consumables and communicating changes.

As a team player, you will also complete additional tasks under the direction of the team leader including tidying, cleaning, moving items or equipment, or any other task required to achieve the goals of DeliverEASE.

**There are multiple Part-Time positions available, with potential for hour to increase to Full Time, for an initial period of up to 6 months with possibility of extension to meet project demands.**

**This is a new project and support role with multiple vacancies available, and with various commencement dates available as DeliverEASE is implemented across hospital sites.**

**Locations on offer are: Gosford Hospital**

**Hours are Part Time 8 hours per week with the potential to increase to up to Full Time hours. Shifts between 07:30 and 16:30, Monday to Friday.**

**The role graded as a General Administration Staff Grade 2 with an hourly rate of $30.69** (Excl. 10.5% superannuation and leave loading), pro-rata for part-time roles.**

**How to apply**

**Vaccination Requirements**

This is a NSW Health Category B position.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.
