Our Client is an Insurance company that specialise in the medical and professional indemnity space. They are Australian owned and growing at an incredibly fast pace, with many exciting opportunities in the horizon.

They are expanding their Melbourne team and looking for an experienced Business Development Advisor to join their Melbourne team to contribute towards success and growth.

The Role:

- You will be working across their Practice Cover and Group Practices. With clients that sit in the VIC and TAS region.
- Regularly meet with prospects within the medical / healthcare sectors.
- Identify and implement agreed strategies to achieve growth in this market segment.
- Identify leads and quotes
- Support calls and queries to assist with quotations
- Attend regular events to assist in identifying leads, quotes, and follow up to obtain new business.
- Work towards monthly and quarterly KPI's
- Seek out new business opportunities

You will need:

- A minimum of 3 years experience in sales / business development and have examples of how you have worked towards monthly KPI's and contributed to business growth
- Background in insurance is preferred but not essential
- Strong background in developing a pipeline of leads, and ability to convert leads to new business.
- Ability to seek new opportunities
- Ability to learn a niche area of insurance, with the willingness to undertake relevant training.
- Australian residency or citizenship
- A vehicle and full license
- Double vaccination due to the nature of the role you will regularly be visiting clients within the healthcare sector.
