Specialist Consultant role within Aged care

We are working with a Not For Profit based in Perth who works to support the lives of those and their families living with Alzheimer's across WA.

**Your new role**
We are seeking a Specialist Consultant within the Aged Care sector to support the Business Development Manager in delivering advice and improvements to shape and develop their current model of care.

This role will identify:

- Identify gaps in services and knowledge relevant to the target group/s;
- Provide tailored information and education workshops about dementia and best practices
- Collaborating with external stakeholders to ensure best practices are implemented
- Develop and maintain learning resources and training materials as required
- Ensures timely and accurate reporting of outcomes and activities to the Head of Department
- Maintains accurate records and statistics of allocated Programs
- Works collaboratively with teams to ensure stakeholders are supported in the community
- Accessing current evidence-based guidance and knowledge and ensuring it is aligned with the Dementia care providers, organizations, etc
- Provide positive and professional management, and support of the organisation’s relative plans, policies, procedures, compliance and governance requirements;
- Exercise initiative and problem solving with some autonomy, under the direction from the Manager Business Development

**What you'll need to succeed**
Knowledge of relevant quality assurance principles;
2. Tertiary qualifications in social sciences or human services field and/or extensive experience in a similar role 3. Experience in implementing projects and initiatives;
4. Ability to work in a small team, manage multiple projects and work with a high level of autonomy;
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to present and manage stakeholder relationships, time management and organisational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines;
7. An ability to prioritise, monitor and coordinate personal workloads to meet varying deadlines;
8. Demonstrated ability to lead a small team;
9. Willingness to travel within the state and for overnight stays if required;
