**WHO ARE WE?**

Applied Abilities is a growing provider of NDIS supports and deliver a variety of programs and care including Personal Care, Social and Community Access, School Leavers Employment Support (SLES), Finding and Keeping a Job Program as well as activities within group settings to provide our participants with all the support they need.

There are plenty of opportunities available now and in the near future as we strive to create genuine opportunities for connectivity and learning for our participants who are based all over Brisbane. We are currently looking for staff who are based in and around the Beenleigh areas.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- General life experience and a desire to be a part of our participants’ journey.
- Experience working with Youth &/or Employment Services
- Experience in Nursing and/or Aged Care is always welcome.
- Adaptability and Versatility as no two days are the same. One day you may be taking a participant to their appointments, the next day you may be going on an excursion with our Adults or Youth to Sea World or possibly teaching our youth how to cook in a group setting.
- Tenacity and Outcomes focused - one our roles is to assist our participants in finding and keeping a job and we leave no stone unturned in order to create these opportunities for them.

**ABOUT THE ROLES**
- You will have the opportunity to work across multiple areas if you like_
- Support participants within a group activity setting within the community. We run social groups for Under 15’s, Over 15’s, Adults and also have a girls group
- Supporting participants in a community hall setting. We run unique programs of supports, that sees us teaching PWD and Youths, how to cook, make barista coffee and sellable arts and crafts.
- Community Access - you will be required to support youths and PWD's to engage safely in the community.
- Personal Care and home help.
