Join Our Team as a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Support Worker with Heart Led Support.

Location**:Eagleby/Beenleigh**

Employment Type: Casual / Part-Time Pay: SCHADS Award (with penalty rates, sleepover allowances & overtime where applicable) About the Role.

We are seeking passionate, reliable and motivated SIL Support Workers to join our fast-growing team. You will be working directly with participants in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment, helping them thrive in their daily lives while providing a safe, supportive and empowering space.

This is a rewarding role for someone who is ready to make a real difference and contribute to a team that values integrity, collaboration, and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including assistance with hygiene, grooming, meals, and mobility.
- Support participants with daily living skills and community engagement.
- Deliver support during sleepovers and overnight shifts.
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the broader team.
- Use strong de-escalation techniques to support participants through behavioural or emotional challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation and shift notes in line with compliance standards.
- Contribute to a fast-paced team environment with flexibility and a solutions-focused approach.

What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- High Needs experience - previous SIL or complex support experience highly regarded.
- Ability to remain calm and de-escalate situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of the SIL sector and NDIS framework is a plus.
- Certificates in Disability, Community Services, or Individual Support (or working towards) are highly desirable.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification.
- Valid Blue Card / NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to communicate efficiently to Management.
- CPI Trained (not necessary but would be a bonus)
