Today, Moose Toys is on the hunt for a Payroll Officer to join our Finance Team.
**Role Objective**
To be responsible for providing exceptional accounting support to the Finance team.
**Responsibilities**
- Processing AU payroll totally for over 200 employees on monthly basis in a timely and accurate manner.
- Processing AU superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG withholding, work cover, child support and other payroll compliance in a timely and accurate manner.
- Payroll month-end processing including payroll journal entry, generating payroll reports, annual leave reports distribution, etc..
- Monthly preparation and submission of Single Touch Payroll (STP) file
- Monthly reconciliation and payment of employee novated lease charges
- Preparing monthly staff turnover and diversity report
- Managing payroll Year-end reconciliations and roll over, including preparing and submitting final STP file, payroll tax annual reconciliation and rateable remuneration reconciliation.
- Providing monthly/quarterly labour analysis as required.
- The provision of support to the international payroll team (US and Vietnam), particularly monthly review of US payroll.
- Allocating monthly labour by Brand for AU and US business units
- Managing AU labour cost budget/re-forecast process and coordinate with other regional payroll teams overseas.
- Assisting with annual compensation review and performance bonus process
- Assisting in labour transfer pricing on-charge processing.
- General filing and record keeping.
- Other ad-hoc finance tasks/projects as required from time to time.

**Key Capabilities**
Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job well and applies this expertise accordingly. Quickly learns new technology, including
- Payroll experience (mandatory)
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Excel skills will need to be at an Intermediate to advanced level
- Experience with accounting software.

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualified in finance or accounting.
- 3 years’ experience in an accounting/payroll position
