**About our role**:
An exciting permanent opportunity exists for an Area Manager to take responsibility for our Foodservice customers. Based in Sydney North and reporting to the State Distributor Manager - Foodservice, the Area Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships and maximising opportunities within the Foodservice business across a variety of market segments.

**What you will do**:

- Working with the State Distributor Manager to strategically use price, trade spend and relationship building to gain market share in key product categories from competitors and private branded products
- Identifying and evaluating new prospects (additional products) in line with the State Commercial strategy
- Developing the state catering business by working in conjunction with the marketing development, marketing operations, product management and distributor teams
- Building and maintaining effective, professional relationships in line with agreed importance to the business
- Formulating and conducting ongoing Strategic Business Reviews with each high profile / high volume account
- Developing an in depth understanding of the Foodservice market and the customer dynamic

The territory encompasses the Sydney North
- North West visiting foodservice end users and a small amount of distributor work.

**About you**:
Perhaps you have a Hospitality/Culinary background, and you are looking for a Career Change? Or you may come from a Sales background, with a genuine drive and passion for Business Development. Building relationships, providing excellent customer service and managing multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment are key requisites.
