Rural Building Co. is seeking a dynamic Area Manager to lead a team of Construction Supervisors, drive performance, and uphold our commitment to building homes of exceptional quality across Western Australia.

About the Role

As an Area Manager, you'll be a key player in our construction leadership team, working closely with the Construction Manager to ensure our homes are built on time, within budget, and to a standard that exceeds industry expectations. You'll provide technical guidance, hands-on support, and daily mentorship to your team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of Construction Supervisors
  • Ensure construction quality, timelines, and budgets are consistently met
  • Provide technical advice to supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients
  • Monitor and report on safety, production, and escalation issues weekly
  • Drive continuous improvement in erosion control, production efficiency, and quality standards and
  • Uphold Occupational Health and Safety standards across all sites.
What You'll Bring
  • WA Registered Builder / Practitioner (or working towards)
  • HIA Accredited Building Supervisor or equivalent
  • Trade or industry-recognised qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in residential construction management
  • Strong knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards
  • Proficiency in builder software and MS Office
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills and
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
