**Energy Sector.**

**Position Purpose**

The Remuneration and Performance Advisor provides operational advice and support for the effective delivery of processes in relation to remuneration, benefits, performance, talent and succession planning and employee engagement.

**Experience and knowledge**
- Demonstrated experience with interpretation of Enterprise Agreements, Awards and legislation
- Understanding of People and Culture policies and practices with a demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate these effectively.
- Ability to manage projects and complete tasks within required timeframes.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft programs, particularly Excel,, Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Experience managing remuneration, benefits and superannuation, including annual remuneration and incentive processes.

**Responsibilities and Outcomes**
- Provide prompt and accurate customer service in responding to remuneration queries across the various locations (this includes.
- Assist with the effective management of the Annual Review processes including administration of the remuneration tool to support the annual remuneration review and calculation of incentive payments.
- Liaise with payroll including ensuring timely and accurate payment of annual remuneration increases and incentive payments.
- Assist in the preparation of remuneration data for inclusion within papers and reports for People and Culture, business managers, Executive Leadership Team and Board.
- Administer salary survey data submissions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Administer superannuation policy, including interpretation of legislative changes, understanding of employee/company impacts and education of employees.
- Provide support and analysis to the Industrial Relations team on remuneration related matters.
- Complete Hay and Mercer position evaluations and provide remuneration recommendations and assess roles under the relevant Enterprise Agreement.
- Review employment contracts prior to issuing to an employee to ensure they are accurate.
- Assist with employee benefits programs and develop key relationships with external providers for a variety of employee benefits including external salary sacrifice, health insurance and banking providers.
