**A Day in the Life**:
The Clinical Practice Project Officer role requires a highly skilled clinician with a passion for the delivery of high-quality safe patient care who will support the development of innovative strategies to advance clinical practice across the health service. Some of your specific accountabilities will include:

- Contributing to the development and implementation of the nursing and midwifery clinical practice strategy
- the successful implementation of creative solutions to complex systemic and organisational requirements
- Collaborating with multiple health professions and a commitment to excellence in the delivery of high-quality safe patient care
- Leveraging your professional leadership skills to support the development and evaluate the effectiveness of our clinical improvement strategies
- Motivating individuals and groups to find solutions and achieve commonly held goals
- A focus on continuous improvement
- This role will be based at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton; however, will involve working across all Monash Health sites.

Communication skills and teamwork are extremely important in this role as you will be working in a diverse team. You show a highly developed emotional intelligence within the care and support you provide. Understanding the importance of patient centred care, you have a genuine interest in working and interacting with our diverse teams to deliver high quality, safe patient centred-care.

Your critical thinking, willingness to learn and ability to work cohesively and share knowledge within a team will see you excel in this role whilst we provide you with guidance, support and training to learn the rhythm of the Clinical Practice Team’s workflows.

**You will also demonstrate**:

- Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
- Relevant post graduate qualifications or working towards the same
- Recent and relevant experience demonstrating the appropriate competencies and skills
- Victorian Working with Children’s Check Employee status
- Current and satisfactory Police Check (must also comply with Aged Care Act 1997 Accountability Amendment Principles 2012 if working in Aged Care settings) Grade 4B Position Description
