- **The Client**

Our client is a major organisation in the higher education sector in Sydney with over 5000 staff and over 40,000 students, offering hundreds of under-graduate and post graduate courses. It is a public purpose organisation, currently, part way through a major 10-year transformation and build across the business.**The Role**

We are seeking a
- **Head of Portfolio Governance**, a role based within a newly formed EPMO. Your role will be to ensure program governance and policy guidelines are adhered to and are constantly being improved on. You will be a part of the strategic program portfolio governance framework, standards and practices to support the achievement of the strategy capability.**Duties & Requirements**
- Collaborate with Strategy, IT, senior leaders and program managers to ensure portfolio, program and project governance processes effectively enable outcomes
- Objectively present the portfolio pipeline, portfolio risks and issues, portfolio schedule and interdependencies and business impacts.
- Build a strategic program delivery community of practice to embed a consistent and high performing portfolio and program governance approach
- Involved with senior and executive stakeholders, being involved with strategy decision making - creating a real difference to the organisation

**On Offer**
- Permanent Position
- Hybrid working schedule.
- Up to $210,000 - $230,000 Package, negotiable, depending on experience.

**About You**
- 10 years' Experience working within a large multifunctional organisation (PMO/EPMO)
- Experience within Education/Public sector desirable but not essential
- Adaptable, innovative and solution focused.
- Demonstrated experience within financial/commercial environments
