**Building Maintenance Infrastructure Officer**

**Salary**:$70,960.76 per annum (plus industry allowance)

Greater Shepparton City Council’s Building Maintenance department is currently seeking a Building Maintenance Infrastructure Officer to join their busy team.

Reporting to the Team Leader - Building Maintenance, you will be responsible for the minor repairs and maintenance on all Council owned, leased and managed buildings & facilities. The position includes the following tasks and knowledge areas:

- Carry out necessary building and construction tasks to maintain and improve Council Buildings and Public Facilities
- Safe and competent operation and maintenance of plant, machinery and tools used to perform repair and installation works
- Ordering of parts and equipment, including obtaining and assessing quotes for procurement purposes to ensure best value
- Provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers
- Ability to coordinate contractors to undertake maintenance works and supervise these works as required.

You will be part of a dedicated team, providing reactive and scheduled maintenance to Council buildings and facilities in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
