As the Purchasing Manager, you will lead and support the team in the day to day operations as well as lead the strategic growth of the function. Some of the key responsibilities will include the following;
- Oversee the operational purchasing team to deliver a range of goods and services procurement to support the business
- Work with various business units through the execution of a range of effective purchasing activities
- Lead the vendor on-boarding process via the SAP system
- Deliver market research and analysis to identify pricing trends and security of the supply of goods and services
- Lead terms & conditions negotiations with new and existing suppliers
- Identify and implement a range of continuous improvement activities within the procurement function
- Lead a medium size team with a focus on driving best practise and performance improvement through coaching and inspirational leadership
