As a Portfolio Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and acquiring strategic properties for our clients national asset portfolio. Our client is a prominent brand with a portfolio of 1000's of sites. If you have a passion for real estate, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record in Industrial, Commercial, Retail or project development we want to hear from you
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets for strategic expansion of our clients property portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to assess the feasibility and financial viability of property acquisitions.
- Negotiate and execute property purchase agreements, lease agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential properties, including site visits, inspections, and assessments, to evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, real estate agents, and industry stakeholders to source new acquisition opportunities.
- Provide expert advice on property and real estate matters to guide strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and manage the property portfolio, including lease renewals, negotiations, and maintenance, to optimise performance.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and market trends and provide recommendations for adjustments to acquisition strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in property acquisitions, real estate management, or strategic portfolio management.
- Strong knowledge of property acquisition processes, real estate law, and regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, evaluating, and acquiring strategic properties.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct in-depth market research and analysis to assess financial viability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
