Receptionist/Office Manager

Our client is a dynamic and innovative construction company dedicated to delivering exceptional service to valued clients. They have reached out to us for assistance with a short term, part time opportunity based at their Port Melbourne office.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organised and friendly Receptionist/Office Administrator to join our team on a short term basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls and redirect them appropriately.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
- Assist in arranging travel accommodations and itineraries for staff members.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Organise breakfast, coffees and lunches for executive level staff as required
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
- Assist in organizing company events and meetings.
- Handle ad hoc administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a receptionist, office administrator, or similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
- Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle various tasks simultaneously.
- High school diploma; additional certifications or training in office administration is a plus.
